Auditions for THE WIZARD OF OZ

Please prepare & memorize a 32 bar or 60 second song selection. There will be a dance call. Come prepared to list potential rehearsal conflicts.
What is the show about?
Young Dorothy Gale is swept away by a tornado from her Kansas farm to the magical land of Oz. There, she encounters a host of whimsical characters: good witches, bad witches, animals that talk, scarecrows that walk, and things magical to behold. To make it home safely, Dorothy must learn an important lesson: there’s no place like home..
Who can audition?
Auditions are open to K4-12th grade students in Anderson School District Five.

Meet the Director!
Copeland Quarles is excited to return to Project Challenge Playhouse and venture to the magical land of Oz! He was last seen directing Finding Nemo Jr. on the Project Challenge stage. Copeland is a proud graduate of TL Hanna, c/o 2016, and PCP. Copeland has performed on stages all across South Carolina. A few of his favorite credits include: Augustus Gloop in Charlie...Chocolate Factory (Greenville Theater) and Angel in Kinky Boots (Spartanburg Little Theater). He teaches 4-year-old kindergarten in Greenville county and resides with his husband and three dogs.
